Food: Exile and Memory. A Panel Discussion

As part of our Jewish Museum Exhibition Event Series we hosted a wonderful discussion on food, memory and identity. Food plays a vital role in the connection between past and present, bringing together generations in a tangible way.

This event was chaired by Michael Leventhal, and brought together our brilliant and talented panellists, Claudia Roden, Linda Dangoor, Sami Zubaida and Michael Daniel.

After the event, our audience sampled a delicious sabich courtesy of Falafel Feast - Iraqi Jewish food traditionally eaten on Shabat morning.
