Raymond Dwek was born in 1942 in Alexandria, Egypt. He was interviewed with his sister, Giselle. In his interview, Raymond spoke about the multi-lingual aspect of life in Egypt and his parent's active social life. In 1957 the family left Egypt and lived in Liverpool. He has had a successful career as a translator and in his interview spoke about the importance of being Jewish.
