Aida Zelouf was born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1953. In her interview, Aida remembers religious festivals and traditions in Iraq in great detail. Her father was the renowned author, translator and intellectual Meir Basri, and she speaks about him and his life. Aida and her family left Iraq in 1974.
