Sylvia Kedouri

Sylvia Kedouri was born in the 1920s in Baghdad, Iraq. She has vivid memories of the Farhud, during which time her family home was used as a refuge. The Farhud was a pogrom carried out against the Jewish population of Baghdad in 1941. She qualified to study at university and enrolled at Edingurgh University in 1947. She moved to London with her husband in 1953.
