Ronnie Harounoff was born in 1940 in Alexandria, Egypt. In his interview he remembered the civilian police ordering his family to leave Egypt in 1957 and how difficult it was to part with his friends. Hovever, he found his new life in London exciting and looks back on his time in Egypt fondly.
