Lys Goldstein was born in 1941 in Heliopolis, Egypt. Her father was a lawyer and writer for several Jewish magazines in Egypt. The family were expelled in 1953 as a result of this and moved to France. In 1955 they moved to the UK. Lys lived in Italy for ten years and settled in London. This was an audio interview.
