Linda Dangoor was born in 1949 in Baghdad, Iraq. In her interview she conveyed a strong memory of the smells, tastes, and colours of her early childhood. In 1959 her family moved to Lebanon and after two years moved to London. She studied graphic design and for some time lived in Paris. In 2011 Linda published the cookbook, 'Flavours of Babylon'.
