Ivy Shashua

Ivy Shashua was born 1933 in Baghdad, Iraq. In her interview she related her experiences of hiding during the Farhud. The Farhud was a pogrom carried out against the Jewish population of Baghdad in 1941. She left Iraq in 1956 and lived in Israel until 1961 when she met her husband and moved to Manchester to live with him.
