Denyse Dwek Pinto
Denyse Dwek Pinto was born in 1929 in Alexandria, Egypt. Her father exported spices and textiles from India. During WW2 Denyse and her family moved to Cairo. They did not move back to Alexandria, and Denyse got married in 1953. A talented dressmaker, when the family left Egypt following the Suez Crisis, Denyse established a sewing business in Peru. She moved to the UK in 1970.
