Bettina Caro
Bettina Caro was born in 1955 in Casablanca, Morocco. She grew up in Tangiers and is a descendent of Rabbi Cari, who wrote the Shulchan Aruch; the codification of Jewish law. Bettina left Morocco for Madrid in 1977 and moved to the UK in the 1980s. She is a successful artist and draws heavily on her Moroccan heritage for inspiration.
